 The Only on that worked out many others I have a Palm Treo 700, Mobile Windows 5.0, and have tried many others: Jeyo, Contact+SMS backup, SMS Organizer... and a few others threaded SMS packages with built in backup that just didn't work or would hang up the system requiring a reboot. SMS Exporter transfered all the the folders and subfolders from the SMS root folder in a concise .CSV excel format as the one option that I used. The phone never hung up and there is a nice indicator screen showing the progress of the number of messages being transfered.
 At least it works The interface is a little clunky, and while exporting it's a very slow as well as essentially disabling the Pocket PC while it's being done. The calculation of how many messages there are if multiple folders is badly flawed.
